The company sports association Betriebssportgemeinschaft DESY Hamburg was founded in 1965; it has ca. 300 member currently.

Our association is offering sports and other activities to the whole staff and all friends of the Research Center DESY as well as to campus connected Institutes, Universities and Companies.
 
The activities and sports are:
Amateur radio, badminton, basketball, bouldering & climbing, DESY Choir, football, karate, athletics, pilates, table football, table tennis, volleyball and yoga.

The Betriebssportgemeinschaft DESY Hamburg e.V. is member of the Betriebssportverband Hamburg e. V. and member of the Association of the Sports Communities of the European Research Institutes ASCERI
